What is the difference between G80 and G100?
G80 and G100 refer to strength grades, specifically of the lifting ring. G100 has a 25% higher tensile strength than G80. While G100 rings can be manufactured, the bolt’s breaking strength at a 90° angle is weaker than G80. To enhance G100’s performance, material and process changes are required, resulting in higher costs without improving the product's rated load. G80 rings meet current requirements effectively.
What is the working principle of permanent lifting magnets, and what are their features?
Permanent lifting magnets rely on an internal permanent magnetic system that moves along magnetic poles to generate magnetic force, securely attracting ferromagnetic materials. Once the material reaches the desired location, the magnet can be turned off, short-circuiting the magnetic flux and releasing the material. These magnets operate independently of any power source, making them portable and safe.
Can swivel lifting points be installed in through holes?
Yes, swivel lifting points can be installed in through holes. When mounted with nuts and washers, the nut must be of grade 8 strength, and full-thread engagement is required.
